I especially enjoy the way you've handled the shadow on her face. I always find it difficult to find the right tonal value and temperature for this kind of passage. Kudos!
Thank you Jala, it is a unusual pose, I am glad I did.
Thank you Averyl, your new works are beautiful!

I came from China and live in San Francisco bay area now. I got my BFA from China and then stopped painting for about ten years, two years ago, I find that the art is still my love, and I want to pick up my brush again. Currently, I am working on my MFA degree and want to be a professional artist for the rest of my life.
Please enjoy my blog, and I would love to hear your thoughts and opinions about my painting. I really hope my work can bring you a piece of happiness today.

Gorgeous, unusual pose that nevertheless works really well.
You are so good, it's ridiculous! I love that she's expectant. She looks like she wants to get up and good to her wedding at this very moment.
