His handsome face and matted hair attracted me. I felt that I painted the hair a little too tight when I looked at it the next morning. I will try it better next time.

I came from China and live in San Francisco bay area now.
I got my BFA from China, MFA from Academy of Art University in San Francisco, and now I am on the graduate-school faculty at the school.
Please enjoy my blog, and I would love to hear your thoughts and opinions about my painting. I really hope my work can bring you a piece of happiness today.

to me, the hair is the most beautiful part of this painting. I also love the red in your shadows. Really nice blog!
I have to agree with Ester. The hair is the best part; you've done a wonderful job with the color, values and texture. Well done!
