The Entrance of Rancho San Antonio

Available at Silvana Gallery.

Rancho San Antonio County Park in Cupertino is a great place for hiking, I had been there many times with my family and friends. Today is the first time I did a Plein Air painting there with my artist friends, we enjoyed a beautiful day in the park...

I love your work Fongwei, you are a master in everything you paint!

I just started doing plein air painting. I would love to know what kind of brush you use for making the thin branches. Do you use a painting medium with your paint when plein air painting?

Thank you Susan.

Hi Carol, I use flat brush and use the corner of the brush to paint the thin branches. Make sure you have enough paint on you brush to paint long branch and hold your breath to keep the branch thin :)

LiJen, hope you had a wonderful spring break. Remember last spring's Yosemite painting trip? I still remember all your stories that night :):)
