Landscape Series (Provence, France) - SOLD

I am going to have a Fine Arts museum trip to New York and Washington DC with my friends later this month. I want to see some paintings from Fechin, Rembrandt and Sargent, any suggestion about good museums in that area?

I don't know about Fechin, but I'm sure you can see Rembrandt and Sargent in the National Gallery and the Metropolitan. Also check out Corcoran and National portrait gallery in DC. Gallery hopping in Soho and Chelsea in NYC is a lot of fun too.

Hi Fongwei - your painting of Provence is lovely - I look forward to seeing more of your work on this blog. As for art in NYC, you might enjoy the Frick collection - housed in a beautiful mansion on Fifth Avenue. It has one knock-out Rembrandt, some beautiful Whistlers, and an Ingres as well as many many others in a wonderful, peaceful setting. Well worth a visit as is the Met, of course. Enjoy your stay!
