Figure 05-07-2014

I am working on some big paintings, here is one of them, please let me know if you are interested.

Family

I know that I haven't posted any paintings for a while because I have not painted much recently. This is a painting I started a couple months ago but just finished last week, please email me if you are interested.

I resumed painting models in my studio with my friends and students, so I will have more paintings to share soon.

Figure study 003 - SOLD

Please email me if you are interested in my figure study.

Figure Study 002

Our painting group is running, here is the second painting I did. It is challenging to paint the live model on a big canvas (24"x 30"), but I think I will get use to it.

Please email me if you are interested in my figure study.

Finally, the painting is finished.

Hope I get more chance to paint this Fall.

Comfort Zone 3 - SOLD

Painted a long pose recently, enjoyed to paint the big painting...

By the way, my small painting "Lost in Thought" will be available at Howard/Mandville Gallery

Two day pose. By look at the painting now, I hope she can sit for us one more day.

Portrait for Fall 001 - Sold

Fall semester started this month, this is the first demo I did. Instead of a monochrome painting, I used a limit palette (Ivory Black, Yellow Ochre, Cadmium Red and Titanium White), first try for limit palette, but fun :)

Grandfather

I planned to create a model painting class in my studio for a while, and this is the first one I did this Monday evening.
I will have more of this class in the future once I find good models, please email me for the detail if you are interested in joining me, it will be a small group class.
